Welcome to the Tower!

Thank you for visiting our site. This site has been the home of original translations of good Lutheran resources from the past. Please feel free to peruse the whole site and investigate resources for your scholarship in Lutheranism as well as sermons, Bible studies, papers and congregational resources that reflect confessional Lutheran theology and practice. Although the on-going translation of Walther's der Lutheraner is presently "on hold," please feel free to sign up for your FREE subscription to the Time in a Bottle Newsletter under the "Brothers' Words" tab above. In the meantime, check out the Strewn Leaves button above and you will find a new feature. You can now peruse and read all the books available for purchase on this site (not all links are yet up and running). You will also there see why the newsletter is on hold, that is, for the production and publication of the first three years of der Lutheraner bound in one volume with the original German pages opposite their English translations.

In Witt'berg's tower darkened

The voice whom many hearkened,

Of Kate's man, now's retir'd.

Man's reason thus ignited

'Gainst Revelations fighted;

Man's landed in the mire.

Yet all's by plan long fated

By Him who's long been waited,

Heav'n granting, else hell's fire.
